- Record Keeping Procedures
- Safety Training and Records
- Driver Employment and Compliance Records
- Insurance
- Regulatory Authority
- Log History
- Maintenance Records for Out-of-Service Violations
- Company Drug Testing Policy and Reports
Historical and active documents are reviewed to ensure continuity and visibility. Accuracy of records is always the responsibility of the carrier; however, errors of omission can be reported and corrective action taken prior to an audit. This does not relieve the carrier of responsibility or potential fine but corrective action reports are generally looked on with favor by an auditor.
